Yasmine Elroweiny, EducationUSA Senior Adviser at AMIDEAST Egypt. She has sent over than 70+ highly qualified high school and graduate students to their dream schools in the US in the past 7 years, among those were Harvard, Stanford, University of Chicago, UPenn, Lycoming, URochester, Johns Hopkins, Minerva and many more selective ones. Before AMIDEAST, Yasmine has taught English as a second language, Business Skills, and Office Management at the BBSA program as part of the Future Generation Foundation government revolution, Yasmine has been thproject at Cairo University from 2008 to 2011. After Jan 25awarded the Fulbright FLTA (Foreign Language Teaching Assistant) in 2012-2103 to teach Arabic and Arab Culture to foreigners at University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho, USA for two semesters. Yasmine started her job with EducationUSA at AMIDEAST in 2014 after her one year of experience as an English TA at one of the private universities in Egypt upon her return from the US. She took advising as a career as she always strives to help youth know their potentials and have access to opportunities of US education. Yasmine has graduated from Faculty of Arts, English Language Department, at Women’s College, Ain Shams University and have accomplished her Education diploma from Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University with Very Good grade then finished with her Mental Health and Counseling diploma afterwards. Currently, Yasmine is on her way to be a certified career coach to expand her horizons and take a bigger role in youth development in Egypt and help more individuals make the right career choices and decisions. In recognition for her hard work and dedication, Yasmine was promoted to manage the Advising department at Amideast/Egypt in 2017 and was selected for two consecutive professional development trainings sponsored by state department with other 19 advisers among 500 advisers all over the world.
