Exchange opportunities by US Embassy Cairo

Rania Elsayed is a Senior Cultural Affairs Specialist for Exchanges at U.S Embassy in Cairo. She manages the Exchanges Team and manages many diverse exchange programs for students, scholars, educators, and professionals. Rania has almost 20 years of experience in the field of education and cultural exchanges. Prior working for the U.S. Embassy, she worked as a Senior Training Manager at the Institute of International Education (IIE). Rania holds a master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Languages from Ain Shams University. Also, she had obtained several certificates in the field of management and leadership from the American University in Cairo and several trainings in the United States and overseas. Rania’s educational background in addition to her long experience made her believe in the importance of intercultural dialogues in advancing empowering youth and women.

Bassma Aly Bassma Hamdy Aly is currently working as Cultural Affairs Assistant for Exchanges at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. She manages different Exchange Programs for High School Students, Undergraduates, Teachers, and Educators. She has more than 12 years of experience in the education field focusing on international education development and educational management. She worked in various positions in AMIDEAST/Egypt, including Associate Manager for Testing Portfolio and Senior Specialist for Education Programs where she supervised and coordinated different educational grants and programs. Bassma holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Education Leadership at the American University in Cairo.
